Presented with The Fox Hound Award for Outstanding Contributions to the BACnet Community
At this year’s NFMT Vegas, The S4 Group was presented with the Fox Hound Award by BACnet International. BACnet International presented the award as part of its annual “Leaders of the Pack” program to recognize the achievements of individuals and companies involved in the BACnet community.
Steve Jones, founder and managing partner of The S4 Group, Inc., accepted the Fox Hound Award. The Fox Hound Award is given to a company who has quickly and stealthily come up from behind in BACnet International.
Andy McMillan, President of BACnet International and President of Philips Teletrol explained why The S4 Group, Inc. was recognized. “In their first year of membership, the S4 Group, Inc. migrated over10,000 N2 devices to open BACnet interfaces.” McMillan continued, “Please join me in thanking and congratulating The S4 Group, Inc. for their dedication to BACnet International and the BACnet standard.”
Steve Jones stated “It is an honor to be recognized as a Leader of the Pack. As a small company we have worked extra hard to gain the respect of the industry. We’ve made a difference for many of our partners, and the building owners that they serve, by making it possible to introduce their buildings to open BACnet standards more cost effectively and sooner than would have otherwise been possible. The S4 Open: BACnet-N2 Router sets the stage for a future migration to native BACnet products. We look forward to another year of growth and success with our integration partners who had the confidence to integrate BACnet into legacy building installations using our products.”
