The S4 Group completed the application process and was accepted as a Preferred Vendor for the Controls Group North America (CGNA), a group of prestigious building automation products distributors.
Most of the CGNA member companies specialize in complex projects where system integration of legacy products is a large component of their service offering to bring the entire building, or campus under a single user interface independently of the underlying technology. Some of the CGNA members perform these integrations themselves, others enable their dealers and independent contractors to deliver the complete solution to the building owner. In either scenario, the S4 Open: BACnet-N2 Router and the S4 Open: OPC-N2 Router provides them with the most powerful and flexible integration platform available today.
CGNA distributors will provide access to the S4 Open appliances, pre-sales engineering support, first level technical support, and training services to their network of dealers and independent integrators to ensure success of their legacy BAS integration projects.
The relationship will be kicked off with a webinar for CGNA Members in March and S4 participation in the CGNA Synergy Conference in April. One of the CGNA Members has already completed a major integration project and is developing a case study that will be published in an upcoming issue of The Gateway.
