Profibus International
PROFIBUS was established as a German National Standard DIN 19245 in 1989. In 1996 it was ratified with the European Standard EN 50170. In 2000 it was ratified with the International Standard IEC 61158. PROFIBUS technology has been refined by end-user experience, enabling it to be used across a market spectrum which is wider than any other similar technology.
