2006 S4 Group News

The Gateway was not published during 2006.

We had to re-learn that old software development adage that says: Take your first development schedule, double it, and then double it again.

We spent 2006 refining the product and working with several field test sites to gain test lexperience in the real world. What we learned at these sites taught us a lot about how N2 networks react when maintenance has been ignored for years, they have been compromised by new construction and remodeling projects, and rodents tried to use parts of the network cable for lunch!

The end result will be a much solider product that is able to handle N2 network errors found in real world situations. We look forward to showing you what the S4 Open product line can do for you.
