The Gateway Newsletter - September 2005
The S4 Group, Inc. announces its S4 Open line of products. With the successful completion of the field trial the OPC-N2 Router and the N2 Switch are available for immediate delivery. The N2 Switch merges multiple legacy Johnson Controls Metasys^® N2 buses, performs auto discovery of devices, provides automatic N2 address mapping, and transports N2 sessions over customer Ethernet networks.

The Gateway newsletter covers the premier of the OPC-N2 Router at the NFM&T tradeshow and at the ICONICS worldwide customer summit. At the heart of the premiere the S4 Group demonstrated application specific device profiles managed by the N2 Router from the S4 Group.
