N2 Switch and OPC-N2 Router Update

Pre-Beta testing continues for both the software-only and Embedded PC platform versions of the N2 Switch and OPC-N2 Router . In anticipation of the Beta release we spent a lot of time this month developing and reviewing the built-in help files that are being incorporated into the next build from our development partner. We received multiple pre-beta builds this month and the latest was in good enough that shape to release it to a few of our system integrator partners so that they could start providing us with feedback and looking for initial customer sites of their own. This latest build will support up to 8 downstream N2 networks. Final integration and testing work is being done on N2 Device Profiles that will enhance the performance and functionality of the N2 Network Autodiscovery process. In parallel to this work our BACnet protocol stack is being developed and tested for another project. Soon after the completion of Beta testing for the OPC-N2 Router the integration and testing will start on the BACnet-N2 Router . There will be a brief interruption in our testing while our lab is relocated to new facilities in Ogden, UT but we expect to resume testing within about a week. Everything is in place with our hardware supplier to start deliveries so that both the software-only and Embedded PC systems will be released at approximately the same time.
